This is a game they absolutely have to get right so take all the time you need even if it is after next gen launches.

This game is way more important than Mafia 2 Remaster(still wish it was a remake as well) and Mafia 3. It is a make or break for the series. I won't play Mafia 2 or Mafia 1 until PS5, but I imagine Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 had mixed reviews. Where it was probably good to revisit games but issues still persisted. If Mafia 1 isn't perceived well, then whats point of Mafia 4

I rather them take their time. I hope it is optimized for next gen

Yea If this game launches with bugs or doesn't sell well its going to be hard to make a mafia 4. I don't like the way they handled the launch of mafia 2 remaster announcing and releasing it on the same day during the middle of what's going on in the world.

The September window is more open now then initially expected with the delay of Cyberpunk and Avengers not expecting to be amazing. However that can change fast I would expect Sunday for a Ubisoft's game to come out that month and who knows what else. Even if this game reviews well it could get lost in the shuffle.

If they can optimize it even more and make it cross gen that would be nice.

We'll finally see gameplay on July 22nd. The teaser they showed the other day looks real good so if it can play as good as it looks, I think majority will be satisfied. Hangar 13 had nothing to do with the two "remasters" and have built the remake from the ground up, im expecting it to be very well done. The delay is fine as it's a few days before my birthday and I'll be on vacation that following week anyway. Now, I'll just play Wasteland 3 first while waiting for Mafia Remake.

It all looks good to me. As long as it is polished and not repetitive then it should be a good game. That's what plagued III and kept it from being considered a good game. Hopefully they're able to deliver the total package with this release because III was a big tease with regards to their potential.

Outside of the throwing molotov animation being wonky, looks great. Can't wait for September 25th...three days before my birthday vacation!!! Looking forward to playing the one game in the series that I haven't played.

Definitely looks good. I expected it to have Mafia 3 gameplay engine. As long as they fixed the issues with that, it'll be good.
I'm waiting to see if this game or even whole bundle will be optimized for next gen hardware. Even if it is just a resolution and frame rate boost with faster loading, I'll wait for that

I remember some news in the beginning of summer - end of spring about remastering, also I remember reports about bugs in some released parts. What is going on now? If you can give info, I want to know more about first part ^^

It looks nice, but that's basically a Mafia 3 mod. The world is dead as it was in Mafia 3. If it were a brand new game it would be a good story and not much more.

I would have preferred if a remaster was created using the Mafia 2 engine 10 years ago. Mafia 2 was the king of living breathing worlds.

I'm pretty disappointed, will wait for a massive price drop. I loved the original but if remade today, I would need more than that.

Mafia 2 remaster was a disappointment. Mafia 1 will be fun because I never played it and they basically made it a new.

Mafia Remake looks great and they obviously used the cover system and shooting mechanics from Mafia III which is fine because that wasn't one of the issues in the game. Game looks absolutely stunning and I have only watched it in 1080P and the story is going to be excellent. Finally get to complete the trilogy of a franchise I started with a decade ago. Hyped!!!

seems like it is still under remastering and there is no official release. So waiting for it, I don`t think they will give us a fool after a big announcement.
