Freethrow accuracy improvement was needed for pno, other than Dame, you couldn’t hit 2 of 2 freethrows.

I just booted up my xbox and checked game updates and there were none, booted up 2k and it said update required go back to the main menu - went back to dashboard to check updates again and there were none.

so I'm just wondering how people are seeing a 4gig update?

I'm now wondering if I should uninstall the game and hope that it keeps my save files...

The patch notes didn't address my issues which are mycareer related - no nba replay's, all mycareer players change each other's look and name to be the same, and camera setting defaults everytime to myplayer even if it's saved to something else.

so later when I have time I'll hope those are resolved but I doubt it and at that point will look into uninstall/re-install

nothing on fouls, nothing on color corrrections and nothing on defensive improvements. ouch

0 for 3 on the things I was really hoping for. I'm glad they are fixing things even if I dont care about them, someone else does so that's good.

Did the fix the where the two-way, gleague players, and stash guys get much worse instead of better?

Offensive Settings still have the bug. You can't get the "Focus Player" to stick to manual upon exit. You also can't change "Pace" & "Rebounds" from "Controlled by Ace" despite it being turned off as an option. The plays are set to "Bench Plays" by default instead of "Starter Plays" as they should be at the beginning of a game. Lastly, you can't get the "Freelance" to change properly and stick when exiting the menu. I've reported them all via 2KSupport so hopefully these errors are fixed for patch 3.

Overall i think this was a great patch from 2K. It fixed a lot of the "major" or more prevalent issues in the game.

Now there are just minor(but important) fixes needed:

- Fix offensive settings menu in-game to allow changed settings to stick once the game begins. Things like freelances, Focus Player, specifically.

- Allow us to change our freelances mid-game while on the court. The defense can change their coverage to man or zone but offense can't change their spacing freelances unless you call a timeout.

- Shot contests could still use some tweaking. Lower the frequency of highly contested shots being greened. 40% contest and higher should have a very very very small chance if at all of being greened.


Gameplay is in a good place and doesn't need a lot of tweaks, at least not yet. A few more small fixes and we are looking at a 10/10 game.

On the shot contests. I would disagree if the contest percentage works as i think it does. I was under the impression that the shot contest dealt with the gather and the release. So if its 40 percent gather and 0 percent release. Then green should be possible.

I very rarely have someone make a shot on me when i have a solid contest. But, i only play with the real teams.

Haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. Were there any improvements to off-ball contact animations? Seems like unless a screen is being set the players CANNOT trigger any type of animation when running into one another.

In years past we’ve at least had players trigger a simple brush-past animation when moving through congested areas, but now they just keep running into an invisible force field around every player on the court.
