I saw the same thing on the MLB The Show forum about its 60-game season.

Yay I don't think it matters for my gameplay as I sim years in advance before I actually play.



Not like every season is going to be 72 games after. I guess it may matter if you are a streamer trying to make a story or something but eh.

It matters to some people. Isn't that enough? A lot of people like to have things match up exactly with the real schedule, even so far as to try to have correct injuries, etc. It can be fun for some to go for that type of realism. I also do understand wanting a covid impact free option, so honestly I think the best route would be to simply give people the option of the real life 72 game or typical 82. Just let people choose.

Y’all keep asking the same question. Lol. The 72 game season will be available for MyNBA when the season starts. It will be for the “Start Today”. It was mentioned in the MyNBA blog.

Sports games need a schedule generator. I remember a baseball game on PC had this in the early to mid 2000s. User puts in how many games they want to play and the game generates a schedule.

I think the best route would be to simply give people the option of the real life 72 game or typical 82. Just let people choose.

I still think the game needs to be patched so that season 2 of MyNBA starts in October. All users should agree with that. Even those that think the virus isn’t real or those that don’t want any memory of it in their sports video games. This shouldn’t be too hard for the Devs to do. I remember on the pc version of game you could edit the schedule using editing tools.

yeah we don't have a real NBA schedule yet.

Also - the NBA has announced that the schedule will be released in two parts - the second part will be coming midway through the first part of the schedule. So be prepared to not have it mirror real life.

And they want play in too right? So if that isn't in the game yet it won't be realistic whether you get 72 games or not.

This is not on 2k lol if you were not aware, the nba does not even have a schedule set for the second half of the season . And they wont until around Feb. Just breaking the news that the schedule is not going to reflect “real-life” this year

I mean at this point we’ve got a console with ssd; just let us choose fixtures and make that selection any number 1-82. Don’t understand what’s the problem.
