Is this trade doable in mynba? I really don't want to have to turn the cap room off in order to get it done.

I think you would have an issue with how many pieces are leaving Brooklyn. Not sure what the limit is but I’m pretty sure it’s less than 12 (5 players, 3 picks, 4 pick swaps)

I tried but it seemed impossible, I'll wait for some of the roster guys to give it a crack.

Seems like you'll have to release guys into free agency and then sign them to the new team to get it to work.

Re: Who wins the Harden trade?

Initial thought is Nets lose. Too many assets leaving to attain a former MVP. No reason to put a dent in your depth, especially with having lost Dinwiddie for the year and with Kyrie being himself. Lot of draft capital being dealt is a lesson they haven’t learned from it seems (See 2013).

Rockets win. A Brinks truck full of assets; they still have a roster that’ll be fairly competitive with draft assets that they can flip, if they see no reason to use the picks themselves. I still have my doubts about them sending Caris to Indiana, but I see the financial reason they did it.

Cavs attaining Allen & Prince are solid. Allen is a guy they can immediately start if they trade Drummond or lose him in FA. Prince is a good player, but how will they fit him in the rotation of wings they have? They’ve got Porter Jr., Okoro, & Osman who all need the minutes, so how do the Cavs make it work without making a mess?

Pacers did a good job of exchanging Oladipo for LeVert. Made the expiring contract of a former All-Star guard transform into a wing with plenty of potential that still has years on his deal.

As a Raptors fan I'd say I won in this trade lol.

Rumours of Siakim, OG and 4 first rounders for a fat, disrespectful, pain in the you know what, who quite frankly hasnt won anything had me seriously concerned so this trade is a big win for Raptors fans.

I also hate Kyrie so I cant wait for the inevitable train wreck. lol

The Cavs just got Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince for Dante Exum. They won the trade.

I wonder how much people's assessment's of this trade differs if Kyrie never suits up for the team again.

They just gave up what the Clippers gave to get Paul George. Kyrie is a better #3 than whoever it was for the Clippers last year, or the Lakers for that matter.

Who out here taking Michael Porter Jr over Kyrie/KD/Harden was the 3rd best player on a team? This is really what we're trying to argue, that a diminished version of that player is going to be worse than every other team's 3rd best guy. I don't see that happening.

And if it does, there's nothing that says they have to keep Kyrie if it isn't working. Pretty sure the Sixers aren't saying no to Kyrie for the Ben Simmons package, or all the other teams that didn't have enough assets for Harden.

Lot of draft capital being dealt is a lesson they haven’t learned from it seems (See 2013).
James Harden is in his prime. This isn't close to the same as Billy King trading future lottery picks for washed players.

KG & Pierce were literally 37 & 36 respectively. Harden is 31 and lead the league in scoring the last 3 years.

Nets basically. KD and Harden would be too hard to stop.

Its possible, you just have to edit the contracts. Also, turn off the recently traded restriction. I edited Harden and Oladipo salary to 20 mil and traded them for each other. Then I traded Harden to Brooklyn for Levert. I edited some scrub on the Cavs salary to Jarrett Allen and traded him to Brooklyn. Then I edited the salary back to what each players was beforehand on the new team. The picks are pretty easy to move.

Yea I edited Harden and Prices salary down a little bit. I also turned off the recently traded for thing and made a 2nd trade with Levert/ Dipo. I also had to cut some players.

Man the CAVS have Drummond, McGee and NOW Allen. Give us a CRUMB of Center in Toronto LOL. Mcgee would do just fine

Houston won only because they got rid of Harden and got Levert.

CAVS got Allen but they have a log jam at C.

                          Nets, only time will tell.

Thanks fellows for the explanation. I was doing a lot of head scratching trying to figure it out. As for Prince to Cleveland, should I release him and have Cleveland sign as FA?
