My player is a 72, barely playing, on the non-contending team that drafted me (I created my player specifically for my favorite team, and there's no trade demand option, at least for me). And maybe I'm an extreme minority, but I now cannot make a layup in this edition because of the new shot meter. I never use the stick, maybe that's why?*
And there is barely any change from last edition...for $70!?* If I could, I would return it. Alas, digital edition,* so that's out.*
Do you know you can turn off the option for using the meter for layups so it's not timing based? Timing on layups is pretty tricky because timing changes based on layup animation and you don't always know if it will be a quick release or late release. I'm trying it for the first time the year, and I typically play with meter off, and I'm still on the fence if I'll still with it or not. Haven't been able to play enough to form an opinion one way or another.

I would like if they gave us the option to choose what team we get drafted by in My Career. I know it's not realistic but they also give us plenty of other options to make the games as realistic on unrealistic as we'd like.
