Will Coaching Carousel be patched?

I’m generally pleased with the game but am hoping the Coaching Carousel gets patched so assistants can be poached and the CPU doesn’t just keep cycling head coaches around different teams. Is this possible?

It's funny how they made a big deal about saying this was in before launch and how this would create balance for Staff Points... and it's never actually made it into the game. I have 0 expectation of this getting fixed. I'm a bit skeptical in general right now with how they've handled the first 2 1/2 months of this "Live Service"

I've had a long back and forth with certain folks at EA over this and reported on all the weird and wonderful things that can happen; to them and in my thread. One of them is not poaching... haha...ha..sob. There are some plans to improve the "gameability" of the coaching carousel but I can't confirm if the poaching element will get fixed.

SMLE have implemented a rule that staff can only be hired in staff week and the Top4 teams (conf finals) must release their best OC or DC into the pool. Then draft order determines the waiver for anyone else to pick up one OC or DC in turn.

It's a weak feature that favours the human vs AI too much. As if we didn't already have enough of that.
It's got potential, but I don't believe we will realise that potential in this release.

This sums up Franchise for me. It favors the human way, way too much. There's not enough of a challenge in team building or drafting for the game to have solid longevity.

This may have been fixed. In year 2028 of my online franchise I noticed my DC was gone. Transaction log shows he was hired by the Texans.

After multiple play tests I can confirm it was not fixed.

Yeah I know. I've won the SB 3 out of 4 years I've played franchise and OC and DC stayed the same. I had to fire them just to get new ones...
