Dallas, TX- On a night where the Dallas Stars(8-8) honored Alternate Captain Jason Spezza with the Silver Stick, San Jose(9-5-2) came in and spoiled it handing Dallas their 4th straight loss while winning their 4th straight.
"We had our night ruined but honestly we can't blame anyone but ourselves." Stars Head Coach Jim Montgomery said. "We need to play much better and we didn't do that tonight."
Evander Kane, Rookie Curtis Sawyer, Rookie Tyler Adams, and Logan Couture all scored to keep their winning streak going as San Jose(9-5-2) continues its Offensive powerhouse. Goaltender Martin Jones stopped 20 shots as the Sharks beat the Stars 7-2.
Alexander Radulov and Tyler Pitlick scored twice to get Dallas(8-8) on the board beating Martin Jones for 2 goals.
"Let those 2 get by me but I was able to stay focused moving ahead." Jones stated.
Stars Goalie Ben Bishop struggled from the opening puck drop. Bishop allowed 4 Goals in the first period off just 15 shots.
He was benched afterwards. Backup Goalie Anton Khudobin took over between the pipes in the 2nd Period allowing 3 more goals on 31 shots.
"Tip your hat to him. He came in and gave them confidence while making us work. I think he did a very good job." Sharks Head Coach Pete DeBoer said.

San Jose's Rookies Curtis Sawyer(5 Goals, 4 Assists, 9 points) Tyler Adams(10 Goals, 5 Assists, 15 Points) James Carr(1 Goal) Justin Callahan (1 Goal, 2 Assists, 3 Points) and JJ Hart(2 Goals, 3 Assists, 5 Points) continue to contribute San Jose's epic hot start.
The Sharks(9-5-2) land in St. Louis tomorrow for a clash with the Blues(6-7) at the Enterprise Center.
