So far, we have openings in Jacksonville and Denver with more to come. Rumors floating around that Harbaugh could be making a comeback in Vegas so we’ll see if that turns out true.

2022 Offseason Thread
Might as well get this going since this is the last week of the regular season.

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
Wonder if Houston gives Culley another year after seeing speculation on his status. I was skeptical of the hire just from his age alone. It's not like Caserio inherited him like Patton did with Fangio. If they were to fire him after a year where they knew they would struggle, then what's the point of hiring a bridge coach. Besides Watson deposition date of 2/22, if it goes on trial that would be on May 2nd. So that situation isn't getting resolved quickly unless it gets dropped.
Outside of Raiders, Broncos, and Jaguars, I see Vikings, Giants(it should be), Chicago are the only other openings I see besides Houston maybe.Comment

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
Just saw the draft order so far.
4 of the top 10 picks belong to NY teams!
What a bad deal for Chicago.
Bears traded the 20th,164th (4th) last year and what ends up being the 7th overall pick along with another 4th rounder, just to pick 11th last year.Comment

If Fields works out I’ll make that trade 100 times out of 100Comment

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
Been conflicting reports about the status of Rhule. A couple earlier this week said he'll be back, then Jay Glazer says not so fast, Rhule needs to hire a "rock star" OC.. whatever that means.

Bears fired Pace too. I’m a little nervous about that, not that he’s a great GM but I don’t trust the people doing the hiring to replace him with someone better and not worseComment

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
Seems to be a power struggle. Don't know if Flores was always okay with Tua.
That changes the Watson trade landscape. Flores was a big reason Watson wanted to go to Miami. Flores will/should get another job this year. If the Texans do move on from Culley after just one year, that would be a job I think he gets because of his Patriot ties
If/when he gets a new HC job, he needs to do a better job of hiring Offensive Assistant coaches.Last edited by illwill10; 01-10-2022, 11:19 AM.Comment

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
Miami firing Flores is completely bonkers. I mean, as a Bills fan we seemed to have his number, but I always thought he was a great coach.
It's wild that Buffalo has the well run football team and Miami has the well run hockey team while their counterparts are tire fires, but here we are in 2022.Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.Comment

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
Like I said Miami was behindn to start the year. But I would of have him one more chance or another year. He's definitely going to be picked up asap as a DC. I guess it's one of those playoffs or fire situations. Which sucks. I thought he was doing good things down there.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
There should be no reason why Fangio isn’t on someone’s sideline as a DC next season.
His HC skills might not be much to brag about but his results as a DC? Mannnnnn#RespectTheCultureComment
