Has anyone found a solution for lack of free throws?

this year seems that not even custom sliders and rosters are able to solve the problem, what is the sense of making available the possibility of modifying the sliders if in practice there are no changes? If I put the shooting fouls slider at 100 I expect these calls to be more frequent, not that everything remains unchanged.

Nope. Some claim raising the block slider leads to more fouls but even more think the correlation is weak, and even if it does result in a slight increase to shooting fouls the insane block numbers make it not worth it

Something we just have to hope 2k patches

change player collision to 1 or zero no one can touch you driving it'll get you realistic numbers on free throws i have my sliders downloaded check it out

change player collision to 1 or zero no one can touch you driving it'll get you realistic numbers on free throws i have my sliders downloaded check it out

So individual player tendencies will get you to where you need to be.

Notably there is a foul tendency and a draw foul rating. ATD roster is a good one with wverything updated

I've increased both to 100 on all players, and it doesn't help.

In addition to the Foul tendency you can increase the Draw Foul rating. It will increase everyone's overall but higher draw foul should lead to more fouls.


I have a generated rookie who has a real high draw foul and gets fouled on his 3 pt attempts 1 to 2 times per game. My foul sliders are also bumped up across the board

I have tried every setting to get fouls , adjusted anything related to aggressive play and all foul sliders to max... and still the cpu does not foul
Just played a game with 12 min qts and cpu committed 5 fouls

You're doing something wrong then. I average about 22 free throws a game.

For most people the main issue is that the CPU doesn't get to the free throw line so there ends up being a huge disparity in FT attempts.

Which slider set do you use? I don't think I've ever got more than 15 FTs in a game... I have my game playing well with CPU taking 3s, pullup mid range jumpers and attacking the basket
Just can't get the FTs for both sides

EccentricMeat's sliders. Previously I was using Schnaidts and was getting to the line even more with those (the last set before he switched to ATD).

I use default rosters.

Well there's your problem. Most slider sets have it at 95 minimum

This is what I have to do every year and it works for me also upping individual finishing strong tendencies and globally editing hard foul tendencies gives me more variation!! that enforcer badge combined with unpredictable badge together triggers flagarant fouls as well!!

I’ve been getting great foul calls for awhile and also lately I’m missing more free throws. Seems maybe they made them harder to make lately. Free throws difficulty at 100.
