Welcome, everybody! I am Chris P. Bacon aka bacon96 here on OperationSports (@baconsfictional on Twitter) back with another roster project and my first on a game other than MLB The Show.
Many of you who are from the MLB The Show community know of Bacon's Fictional Roster, or simply BFR, for its attention to detail, variety of attributes or overall ratings, and a mix of fun but also realistic names plus appearances. For those of you unfamiliar with BFR, check it out in any of the MLB The Show 18-21 roster vaults or click this link to view my thread about it here on OS! I have decided to pause my annual project on MLB The Show mostly due to the developers removing the year-to-year saves feature which I frequently used to continue the roster project year after year.
But enough about MLB, let's talk about Madden -
Bacon's Fictional Draft Classes aim to please the same crowds who enjoyed BFR on The Show for years. I pay attention to every detail, provide unique player types, including some with very limited abilities, and enough hidden gems that you'll still be finding new talent after a few runs with it.
I have completed a 250-player project that is now available within the Shared Community Files for PS5 users on Madden 23! The plan is to make at least one more but I may make a few more depending on how well received the first two are and how ambitious I'd like to get with this new project. I also have this fancy spreadsheet for you all to either track progress or dive into the classes without downloading - but beware of some spoilers you may come across while viewing. I have whited out some information but it may still appear depending on your device and various personal settings.
I'd love to discuss all aspects of the draft class and any future plans in the replies here or within my lively discord server.
