Does anyone have proposed ratings for Wemby?

I'm creating a custom roster on PC and am just curious if there is anywhere his ratings have been proposed, or if there is something close to a consensus on what they should be.

Obviously, he is one of the hardest prospects to rate before he plays due to his size and skillset.

That sounds about right for an OVR.

I was looking for more detailed ratings that some of the roster experts around here might have.

Something like the ratings on 2kratings.com

I think he got released for MyTeam or whatever, does anyone know how he's rated there?

I don't play those modes.

Strength should be low 60's and depending on your individual roster edits and tastes he's a little too fast as well. Other than that looks good. For me personally I'd have his durability lower too.

My feedback for these ratings would be:

• Drop three-point down. The biggest misconception about Wembanyama is that he's a good shooter because his shot looks so good. He shot 27.5% on threes last year on 171 attempts. I know the shot quality will go up, but I don't think he's a 79, maybe 75-76. If you want him to be more fun, 79 would be better.
• Block should go up. He's going to get a lot of blocks. Maybe mid-80s? Robert Williams is 88. The two most striking impacts Wemby has are:
  • He gets to blocks that you didn't think were humanly possible.
  • The hesitancy he gives perimeter players to take shots they would otherwise take. It feels like a different flavor of the same type of warping Steph Curry has on offense. I think it would make sense to give him Challenger.
• The Rebound is a little low. If you're setting it that low, because 7'3"+ players naturally get rebounds in gameplay, fair enough, but otherwise, it's a little low. It's not as if he's a weak rebounder; averaging 10.4 rebounds per game, he was one of the best rebounders in the Betclic Élite.

75-76 three is too high for him too on that efficiency. Probably closer to 65.

Even in the g-league when he played 37 games, he only attempted 22 and made 6. But you both had a good point about the 3 point shooting so I lowered it if you think it's too high or low let me know.

Hey I really like the video you made, but there is an issue with your ratings. You had said that he was an 84 when they announced his rating but he is an 86 in your preview. I know it's not morale boost or whatever, but the 86 overall doesn't only constitute to just his ratings. His 84 overall comes from the combination of his badges and his ratings. But I really like how you did the ratings and the research you put into it. All I had was a few scouting reports and highlights. But now that the ratings have been revealed my ratings are obsolete lol

Yes, these are my ratings, rather than 2K Sports.

They will probably have significantly fewer badges on him. Paolo Banchero for example had only 3 badges (later bumped to 11).
