Next Madden Patch??

When do we think we will get the next patch?? Or at least a small patch fixing the more important bugs like the franchise draft classes

Looks like last year they were Sept. 1, Sept. 8, and then not until Oct. 13. Hard to say what their schedule will be this year but maybe this week or next if we're lucky and we'll get the draft classes fixed up, along with any missing alternate helmets/uniforms.

That month delay last year made a lot of us very angry because the franchise servers weren't working for anyone during that time, but they showed no urgency to fix the game or even admit it was broken until November. Hard to say what their approach will be this year.

If they know how to address the issue I think it will be patched this week. That is a big if though.

Honestly, not even EA knows. All we can do is just wait and if it helps anyone feel better, be mad while they wait. EA can't say "we expect the patch to be ready next Thursday" because all hell will break loose if it is not out next Thursday.

I am hoping they will at least release a small patch this week at least fixing the draft classes. I understand not releasing a major patch but at least give us one fixing these priorities.

Keep an eye on Madden Direct Twitter page.

If they announce server maintenance for the next morning a patch usually (not always) appears a few hours after the maintenance is complete.

Because I've been playing single-player Franchise for about 45 hours and enjoyed it?



People act like the game is entirely unplayable. It's not. Yeah the draft class thing is annoying, and something is weird regarding passing on All-Madden, but the game is still fun.

My wife surprised me with the game this year as an early birthday present, and while the gameplay is somewhat improved, it's certainly not the "cats meow" as SOME folks are making it out to be.

I was playing the game pretty much every day...that was until Starfield launched, and from that point on I haven't touched Madden....lol

I paid way less than 70 bucks, that is how I can justify it.

That almost makes up for the lack of penalties called. lol

Online leagues (especially Commish teams), reviewers, creating slider/settings/tools, early jump on Mut, just big Madden fans, no other games currently etc.

I play MUT (no spending) and Superstar modes until I'm happy with most of the patches and then start Franchise mode once my understanding of this years gameplay is cemented in and drop other modes. Used to be a Commish and also produce a lot of tools/tips so need the game early to break it down.

I got it from Walmart myself. Was supposed to get a $20 gift card and of course they forgot. Got $20 refunded to my card, so $50 wasn't so bad.
