I'm lookig for a graphical upgrade that is commensurate with the (not new any more) console hardware we have.

      Big ones for me:

      1) Pickles. Pickles are not even close to representative of a real life pickle. The fielders close the gap when a runner is in a pickle, doesn't seem to happen in the show leading to one slightly mistimed throw and the runner is safe.

      2) Interaction between the fielder and the wall. These animations have never really been updated and attempting a snag a ball over the wall feels clunky IMO.

      3) Real time lead off's (like in Super Mega Baseball). The lead off/pick off system needs a complete overhaul.

      4) We need an online ladder/ranking system that updates weekly or monthly for people who play with regular teams in online head to head games (again like SMB). Simply tracking stats seems sort of unrewarding.

      Nice to haves:

      1) Diamond Dynasty rewards for playing other modes
      2) Upgradable cards in DD
      3) Online franchise that allows you to play a full seasons with 32 teams even if you just a few human participants in the franchise that allows you to send friends invites to play against humans in games that would normally be vs. CPU games. (e.g. I don't want to play the CPU)
      4) Spotify integration for custom play lists

Agree 100% with the earlier comment that the biggest improvement should revolve around a graphical upgrade across the board in the game to improve player models, ballpark architecture, updated city skylines (don't get me started on the jaggy looking Gateway Arch in St. Louis), ect.

Also, presentation improvements are needed like outside stadium shots for all MLB clubs, more specific stadium atmosphere (like the President race at Nationals games or people in canoes going after homerun balls in SF and Pittsburgh, ect) all relivers get their specific entrance, sponsored play of the game for fielding, look around the MLB feature showing other team highlights during games, bringing back the on-field analyst (i.e. Heidi Watney), implement the 2023 rules changes (i.e. bigger bases and time clock), ect.

The graphics need to be overhauled. It's several games overdue. I couldn't even play it this year. After one game it just looked and felt so old and stale.

The fact that the challenge system has remained the same for four years is pretty unreal to me. It is literally a rule of Major League Baseball. The computer doesn’t even use it. It’s also only at first base and only for the user. I don’t even use it due to what is written above.

The player models are LITERALLY 10 years old.

              It's time, SCEA.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

obviously there's franchise things they should do, but let's be real, they're not, so not gonna waste time on that

Yes to all of this. I want big improvements to presentation this year too.

Also, can we make broadcast mode actually mean broadcast? It really bugs me that the camera will just cut or fade to the next batter at the plate after an out, and loads of walk ups are skipped. Same with after pitch it thrown, the camera just fades to the hitter being ready to hit again immediately a lot of the time.

I’d also like to see the presentation for the World Series feel much bigger too. Make it different to the rest of the postseason and make it feel like a really big deal.

Just continue to work on improving franchise mode. Fix some of the small issues like bullpen logic.

Obviously the game needs current gen graphics and animations. The pitching animation is particularly unsatisfactory. Pitching is half the game, and in real life it is a violent motion. In MLB The Show, the motion is not violent. It looks as though the pitcher is giving minimal effort to throw the baseball, which makes it look unrealistic.

Would love to see something like Player DNA in NBA 2K where you can import a player into your already existing Franchise.

How about more than two uniform sets for custom teams?

I see this mentioned a lot, but don’t 2K and Madden also make games for last gen? Genuine question.

I’ve been hoping for a graphical leap for the last couple of years, it’s well overdue in my opinion.
