Different Broadcast Teams Confirmed by Kirk

Based on the clip in the link below, it seems Kirk just confirmed different broadcast teams. Major feature imo.

Definitely an awesome feature and makes sense with madden going that way. How many teams do we think it is based off who has been confirmed ? Because saving Kirk’s team for the big prime time games then the B team for the blowouts is going to be a nice feature

I'm guessing it's Conners and Palmer...saving Kirk/Chris for the big games.

Didn’t Pollack call a few games too when he was at ESPN?

Pollack was more a college game day and studio type guy then a play by play. Because he was definitely on gameday when they were filming/ agreeing to all of this 2 years ago.

I said it on another thread, but I definitely think we'll see
Multiple broadcast teams. Watching that whole stream, this was one of things he spoke with confidence. It was a decent stream, but I think even Kirk realized that they were asking questions he wouldn't have knowledge on or couldn't speak on. His sons were just asking community questions. At the end, he asked his sons to write down 20 questions and that he would ask his guy with knowledge for the next time they do a stream.

I'm thinking that as well. But based on the picture Connors posted, he posted halftime script. So, I'm not sure if he'll do halftime show along with commentary. I thought he'd be the Studio Updates guy. I definitely thought Palmer would be an announcer.

Connors is more of a Studio guy. He does Play by Play, but that's mostly for College Basketball and Baseball. Palmer does call games. I think Connors will be the Studio Updates guy and do halftime. I could see him call games. I would say Fowler is the Play by Play and Herbstreit is the Color Commentary guy. I would say Palmer might be CC guy, so they would need to pair a Play by Play guy with him. That could be Connors. But, unless it's an announced guy, the other guys are likely Gameday announcers.

I am starting to think that Madden is going to be the game to have multiple presentation packages. They have used CBS before and killed it with college basketball. I could see CBS for Sundays and ESPN for Monday Night Football.

I feel the same way. I don't see Madden having multiple broadcast teams and using the generic EA broadcast package. I'm more than okay with just ESPN for CFB. All of the announced guys for CFB are ESPN, so not sure they had hire more guys. I'd just stick with ESPN for year 1. For Madden, it'll likely be guys all not for same broadcast network.

I really hope Madden adds Nance and Romo to go along with Davis and the other guy.

Charles Davis does call games for CBS so if we do manage to get different networks I imagine they’d stick with Davis and Gaudin for CBS. Troy Aikman and Joe Buck for ESPN Monday Night Football would be awesome. That one change alone would change he entire complexion of Maddens presentation for me.

Kevin Connors did an interview, mostly about Syracuse. But he drops some good Nuggets. It starts around 21:00 to the 27:30 mark. He confirms that he will just do In-Game Updates and Halftime. He did about 25 2 hour sessions. He mentions players having hoods hanging out the jerseys

So, if there's multiple broadcast teams, Kevin Connors won't be apart of it. So it would be Jesse Palmer and someone else.
