How would you rank the four PS5/Xbox Series Maddens so far?

Hey, all.

With Madden 24 nearing the end of its cycle, I'm curious to know how you would compare it to the other three next-gen Maddens that have been released.

For a variety of reasons, I haven't been as tuned into the Madden discourse on OS as I have been in years past. I do know that, generally speaking, M21 was pretty well-received on here, M22 wasn't very well-received, and the reception for both M23 and M24 have been more mixed. But, I'm curious to know of any nuances I might have missed, especially with all four games close to or at the end of their respective patching cycles.

From a Franchise standpoint 22 and 23 were a bust due to league ending bugs. 21 next gen I still have as it's the best playing & functioning peak of the CFM era with easy scouting system. 24 is the best Madden in over a decade or more but since 13 it's a very low bar to beat.

I would honestly about rank them worst to best in the order they released. The only thing that would make me hesitate putting Madden 24 as the best one is the CPU play calling issue along with the 3-4 depth chart issues. Neither were fixed and both were inexcusable, honestly.

EA has made improvements to all areas of the game each year on the current generation of consoles, so that is why I'd rank them that way. If the play calling issue didn't exist nor did the 3-4 depth chart issues, 24 would be the best Madden of all time, imo.
