Spreadsheet For Tracking Own Dynasty?
Does anyone else keep up with their Dynasties on a spreadsheet? I'm looking for examples or a new template before the game comes out.NCAA: Arkansas Razorbacks
NFL: Green Bay Packers
F1: McLaren
NBA: Dallas Mavericks
MLB: Seattle Mariners
MLS: Nashville SC

Re: Spreadsheet?
First tab was the school I was at, the overall record, who won the Conference, the major award winners every year, and who won the National Title. It made it great to look back on who was a Dynasty over the years (who won multiple Natty's, how many in a row, etc.).
On the 2nd tab, it was my starters and depth chart at every position on Offense and Defense, as well as their class and overall rating. It made it very simple to keep track of who I needed to recruit to replace, etc.
I wish I could find a copy of that, but we're talking many years ago now. Maybe I can make something and share it if I happen to have the time and there's enough interest?
It's not really difficult to make. -

Re: Spreadsheet?
So, I started to drag out the old spreadsheet but then...
I got a little carried away.
I started building an entire web app.
It's not even close to done but here are some screenshots if you're interested.

Re: Spreadsheet?
That is one of the less evil things she did. She played with her psych meds a lot and I got the pleasure of experiencing the fallout. She legit lost her mind postpartum. There was hereditary mental illness in the family I wasn’t aware of. Life is fun, lol.Comment

Re: Spreadsheet?
I built a crazy spreadsheet for ‘14 that calculated and/or tracked basically everything I could ever want (and I still have it on my PC). It required me to take 5 minutes after every game to manually enter that game’s stats and about an hour per season to manually enter the end of season awards/standings/carousel/etc as well as my incoming freshmen, recruiting class, etc, etc. That was fine because my PC was right next to my Xbox, but that’s no longer the case. If I wanna use my spreadsheet I’d have to move my new Xbox, which I don’t wanna do, so I’m hoping that CFB25 had adequate dynasty tracking, but I can’t imagine that it will.
I don’t know that I’d wanna play CFB25 without my spreadsheet. Among tons of other stuff, my spreadsheet tracked:
Every stat I could want (all calculated from formulas using manually entered single game data) in sortable/filterable tabs. I.E. most rushing yards in a single game/receiving TDs in a season/career pancakes/QBR in a season/etc/etc.
My career record as a coach, broken down by team.
My team’s record against each opponent I’ve ever played while their coach. My career record vs rivals/conference foes/playoff record/etc.
Every playoff bracket in the dynasty.
Every recruiting class/all award winners/every coach carousel movement/my conference’s standings from every year.
Every conference winner/national champion.
Here’s hoping I can live without some of this stuff (it’s a blast going back to see how many Heismans Bama players have won or how many times the Suckeyes made the playoffs, etc). I’d love it if the game tracked a lot of this stuff, but I’d bet dollars to donuts that once that 5* stud QB I signed has graduated, as far as the game is concerned it’d be like he never even existed unless he set some records (which my guys hardly ever do, even in 20+ year dynasties).Favorite Teams:
College #1: Michigan Wolverines
College #2: Michigan State Spartans (my alma mater)
College #3: North Carolina Tar Heels
NHL: Detroit Redwings

Re: Spreadsheet?
I’ll make an easy spreadsheet for a few things to make it easier to take notes for my dynasty i’m posting here. I’m thinking at least recruiting, roster and game recap and it will help me get organized when post stuffLast edited by georgiafan; 07-05-2024, 09:43 PM.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense
