A little more info here plus a few screenshots.

There will be a 6th Era in MyNBA.

Not crazy about the screenshots. I think Tatum somehow looks worse (maybe just his expression). Vince Carter look bad IMO. Something looks off with their eyes.

Not much else to take from the news.

I think Tatum somehow looks worse (maybe just his expression). Vince Carter look bad IMO. Something looks off with their eyes.

Right now I don't see anything that jumps out at me in terms of exciting, new features to the game. That's ok as long as they continue to improve existing features like MyLeague/NBA Eras. For example, boosted era-specific presentation more authentic renderings of the classic NBA arenas, and player's hair. The guys with longer hair like Tom Chambers look like something out of a 2004 Xbox graphic design.

Also, for me personally, the ability to only replace the floor design without changing the arena to some default arena and of course Year over Year saves. Hate to see folks in the community reinvest all that time and energy on recreating Eras rosters.

Certainly matters for console owners. The PC community is going to show everyone how good this game can look.

I can usually overlook the visual short comings of 2K but I was hoping we would see some changes and improvements this year. The game has looked basically the same since the new gen started, which itself looked similar to last gen. 2K is overdo for a visual make over.

I feel like there used to be an effort to make the games visually distinct from each other. Go back to the Xbox/PS2 and Xbox 360/PS3 eras and almost every game looked a little different. It seems like they're kind of just settling for what they have instead finding areas to improve and change.

I'm hoping that the NCAA Football game causes 2K to up their attention to presentation next year. It looks like EA placed an emphasis of nailing the college atmosphere for each team. If EA can do that for college there's no reason 2k couldn't do something similar. They have less teams to worry about (unless you take all classic/era teams into account) and the variation in atmosphere and presentation for each team shouldn't be as unique as on college football.

Presentation, atmosphere, and visuals (I think these all tie together) ar areas that 2K used to be one of the best at but I feel like they don't give these areas as much attention as they used to. .

Hall of Fame cover...



I haven't felt compelled to buy a 2K based upon the cover alone since Ben Wallace in 2005. As a big time Vince Carter fan, this might tip the scales.

I’ve waited all of these years for a Vince carter cover and it finally arrives !!!!!

(Looks at fine print…….hall of fame edition is a digital only, are you kidding me !!!).

I’m guessing this is the death of the hall of fame edition physical copy and from now on will be digital only. Only physical copy will be standard edition. Soon rather than later all physical copies will be gone.

Didn't realize that. Every year I debate if I should get the HoF edition for league pass but I prefer having a physical copy. Looks like I'll go standard again unless I hold off until HoF is on sale.

The older eras presentation needs to be electrified just like the modern era
Please put the organ back at the Staples Center
If they do this then I can finally enjoy the new eras they introduced
