Part of the reason why things such as Single A level, international free agency, etc aren't in the game yet is due to the years of Y2Y saves. The difficulty of adding significant changes that effected the roster logic and finances were extremely difficult to pair with existing franchises from previous versions.

With Y2Y saves removed, we've seen the draft be overhauled and more realistic in how the process works, and the addition of Prospect Performance Index, which is tied to the draft. I'm extremely confident in saying that we would've never seen these types of upgrades/improvements if Y2Y saves still existed.

And for the record, SDS didn't voluntarily expand to Xbox and Nintendo in an effort to make more money, they were instructed to by MLB as part of the licensing deal.
