Maintenance Update from devs

We are back with some updates!

Server maintenance was completed earlier today to address the issues mentioned above for ONLINE Dynasties.

For OFFLINE Dynasties, a Title Update will be required to resolve these issues. Our team is currently working to include these updates and more in our next Title Update.

We also addressed an issue with SuperSim results for overtime (OT) games, including the News panel on OT results for future games.

Please note that the Schemes and Playbooks fix is not retroactive for players on your roster who previously had their OVR and/or Archetype changed. However, you are safe to use the Schemes and Playbooks menu to change your playbook!

Can confirm that freshman do appear in Position Changes along with ATH position for dynasties that are online.

And the next title update is....end of August? I thought I saw a post showing the schedule for the next couple title updates, but I can't remember where I saw it or what the timeframe is.

If they fixed it for online, then presumably the code is in place and works. Why can’t they just do a tiny update for offline to fix and save their big title update for other stuff? Is there really any reason we need to actually wait?

Bruh come on, why ask why? Be happy things are in place and they are fixing issues. No need to worry urself, let EA do what they do.

They can't just release patches however they like. It has to go through Sony/Microsoft which has its own process.

Some patches require more control/testing than others, so hopefully they will be able to release a patch with the fix very soon.

There is a significant process for both MS and Sony for all vendors when pushing out updates. It's not as simple as just sending out an update, there are 3rd parties who own the service you have to deal with, and they have rather signficant approval process.

average usually takes 7-14 days normally to get through MS/Sony certification.

This worked until their update, now it doesn't work and we need to wait on another update, which may create a new problem and require a Dynasty to be restarted.

*Incoming freshman are not appearing in the Position Changes screen during the offseason.

I think the on-field play is great, graphics are updated and it feels like a CFB game experience (which at the time, it always did). But I can honestly say, as someone who has played at nauseum & owned every copy of NCAA Football ever made, the game is disappointing. Will I continue to play, of course, and they know that. It's amazing what they were able to accomplish 11+ years ago seems to be very difficult for them today. Just remember, at the end of the day, all that matters, is that they get rich.

This is like forgetting a basketball is round or a football is oval. EA has a well-documented track record, forgetting is impossible. I'm not criticising EA. But there's no way around their years and years and years established reputation. Forget, nah. Ignored it? More likely.
