MyGM Mode. LOVE IT!!!!!

I love that we have the RPG element back! My only issue is I just can't seem to make any 3's or jumpshots. 90% of my makes are within the paint. I'm playing on Superstar mode, should I switch to Hall of Fame? Or should I make any other adjustments? I noticed there are a few shooting settings this year besides sliders.

Lmfao same. The game felt so good I got excited and started playing in HOF. Rn, I'm 3-6 on the season, I won my last two games because Kyrie/Luka caught fire and the opponent center couldn't shoot from the 3pt line.

Which Shot Timing Profile are you using? High Risk-Reward has the largest green zone and only greens go in, Low Risk-Reward has the smallest green zone but you CAN make non-green-timed shots depending on your player’s ratings, how open or contested the shot is, and how high your Mid Range/3pt Shot Success sliders are.

Playing on superstar with my Nets is as much torture as I'm willing to endure, so it really depends on how good the team you're playing with is.


I like MyGM as well. I'll love it when they either fix generated draft classes or 2k Tools comes out that let's me edit the draft classes in MyGM

Thank you for this. I'll have to check but I had left it on default (based on difficulty), and haven't touched sliders. I will probably switch to Hall of Fame though. See if that works.

Unless I’m mistaken, did they separate mygm and MyNBA again? I feel like they combined the two in recent years didn’t they? As in mygm was simply a couple options you’d select within MyNBA?

The “walking around corporate offices” thing, is that exclusive to mygm or also in MyNBA?

I was really enjoying myGM yesterday but had to go to sleep so I saved the game at almost halftime. We were up Cavs 60 Raptors 57. End of the game, I won, Cavs 60 Raptors 58. Weirdest glitch/bug I've ever seen. No one could dunk. Couldn't adjust sliders. Everyone missed every single shot, open or not, for both teams. The only point that was scored was by them on an intentional defensive 3 second call by me to see if they would hit the free throw. I didn't do it again because I didn't want to lose and mess up my game save. Both teams went a combined 0-72 in second half, including 0-11 from 3. CRAZY!

I wish every sports game had a myGM mode just like this. Absolutely have loved it since it's inception.

Definitely wish I could edit my players shoes and accessories and use real draft classes. If they add that it would be the perfect mode.
