Good. Now we can stop hearing complaints about it.

Yep! That appears to be the case. Possibly online dynasty servers will update, but either way it's possible for those that want/need it.

Obligatory… will this apply to my existing offline dynasty? I have really wanted this, but No way I’m starting over after 5 years for number editing.

I can confirm this. Only slightly annoying part is we still have the issue of duplicate number.

I changed Tennessee’s non NIL LB number to 8 and it change Nico’s number to 16 [emoji23] I guess Peyton number was part of his NIL package.

Something better than nothing though! Just have to be careful and pick numbers before changing. Thanks EA!

So we have to start a new offline dynasty to have this option? And I just got DJ Lagway to transfer to my program 😢

Re: New Update 9/9: Jersey numbers editable?

I bought a Series S solely for this game, so it’s new to me, so I have a question about copying the game.

I went offline (so I didn’t get this update in case it breaks something).
I copied the game (28.91 GB) to my external HD.

                      1. Does that copy everything necessary to play the game in its currently patched version to my external HD?

                      2. If, after I update the game in a couple days, I decide I wanna revert to yesterday’s version, is it as simple as deleting the game from my internal drive and copying the version from my external HD over to ,y internal?

                      3. What is the state of my dynasty files and profile and other such files? Did I copy those to my external (meaning when I copy them back I would be reverting my dynasty back to what it was yesterday)? Will the dynasty files that I’ll continue to update for the next couple of days stay on my internal and be used once I revert the game? Seems like that’d be a problem since the game patches the dynasty when you play on a patched game.

                      4. If my dynasty files are not copied to my external HD and will thus get patched when I patch my internal drive’s game, how do I also copy over my dynasty and profile files to my external HD as a backup? When copying from internal to external, there’s just 1 CFB25 selection and I don’t see separate options for dynasties and profiles and executable game files.

                      Thanx!

Looks like it is offline only. Which is disappointing since Teambuilders are online only (also disappointing).

I tested it. #52 MLB Nova Francois for Tenn can be edited in offline but not online.

No you don’t. It applies to existing saves.

My guess is this will be available online in the next big title update. Total speculation.

Anyone know when that’s scheduled? I thought I remembered seeing that somewhere but couldn’t find it yesterday.

So theoretically someone could sim years ahead until all nil players are gone and change ratings, names and jersey numbers for everyone? Definitely a clunky way to create classic teams. Would have to be used in dynasty as well. Do I have this correct?
