Despite all this, I got HC offers from only two schools: Washington and Alabama. I suppose it’s possible I could get offers next week depending on who is hired where. Two schools are looking to hire away the UCLA head coach, I could potentially move up and stay right here. It’s frustrating I wasn’t considered for so many jobs but got 2 high profile offers. I’m debating letting them go too. I absolutely will NOT be Alabama. I can’t stand them. Washington is okay, but I’m not a big fan and not sure I could stick out a full season there. I’m not sure if I’d get more offers, but I feel like I’d enjoy a second season as UCLA OC over a season as HC of either. So I may have another quick season as an OC unless the UCLA HC leaves and I get promoted.
