    Powell Lacrosse 16 Review (PS4)

Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 is the latest edition of lacrosse from studio Crosse Games, which was founded to actually produce games for the sport.

There have been numerous iterations in the series, a crowdfunding attempt and most importantly a couple of legit releases. This newest edition borrows a lot from other sports games, which isnโ€™t necessarily a bad thing.

For those who are willing to give Lacrosse 16 a try, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised.

Is it possible to create, share and download created teams? At least, is it possible to create more than one team?

Re: Powell Lacrosse 16 Review (PS4)

Nice review! Best review that gives best representation of the work put into the game. All other reviews bash the game for it's tough learning curve for noobs to the controls, or the awkward commentary, and almost don't take the time to appreciate the good and great things about this game.

With that said...this game really fails at the game administration aspects of lacrosse. The only penalties I've seen so far are push and offsides. Both are technical fouls that should be releasable/waived by a goal, yet they are non-relaseable/full time fouls. This really is a game changer in that, someone can go on a 30 sec full time, man up and rip 5 illegitimate goals.

Another biggie is quick restarts, especially after a shot. I really wish they could have found a way to have "endline balls", but the restart after a shot is just too long for lacrosse purists.

Hopefully these things can be patched.
I wish everyone talked like Larry Merchant.

I'm intrigued, but not intrigued enough to play typical game prices. I'll wait till its marked down at gamestop or something.

The price tag $50 still has me on the fence. All the promising roster moves by TC has me wanting to the pull the trigger, $50 is a lot for a non AAA title.
