Now I have seen the reason why this is the case and I'm going to lay it down for you.
The defensive pathfinding is off by about 7 yards. Let me explain.
Every single shed from the DL, be a pass rush move or blitz or run game block shed, it sheds inside.
I saw a corner blitz to stop an outside run and the corner ran from the nickel in the left tackle at an almost 90 degrees angle. this is what triggered the epiphany. They attack for directly behind the centre, instead of spot 7/8 yards behind the snap. all it would take to get the game serviceable, would be to amend the pathfinding of the D AI to be 7 yards deep in the backfield instead of where it is now.
