I just finish a game my team builder St Oalf vs FCS Midwest. FCS Midwest had no time out life and was losing 28-20. I call for a QB kneel and the clock goes all the way to zero to end the game. Never see that before. It just speed all the way to zero. Anyone seen that happen.

If the kneel will end the game, they just race it down to zero.
I think that's a good thing, personally. -

It’s by design and a great feature.Favorite Teams:

Re: QB Kneel
In situations where they cannot stop the clock, the game just auto runs out the time now. Unfortunately, it doesn't work when you're up big and the AI still has timeouts even though they aren't using them.Comment

Re: QB Kneel
It's a much appreciated feature. I wish we also had the ability to not kneel immediately. Let us snap it, then hit A/X to kneel it like you see in real life at times. Some situations need you to run a bit more time down to get it all to work out and this is missing in the game.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: QB Kneel
But sometimes it also doesn't trigger when I feel like it should.
There's been a handful of instances where I'm up at least 2 TDs with under 1:30 left, no CPU timeouts, and the kneel down is just like it used to be (no clock speed-up).Boston Red Sox

Re: QB Kneel
I think there has to be less than a minute to go, I could be wrong. I’ve never seen it trigger with over 50 seconds left, which even at 50 I should technically have to kneel one more timeComment

Re: QB Kneel
The only thing the Gameplay Deep Dive says is "Whenever the game is mathematically over, just take a knee.....we'll simulate the following kneel downs"
I've seen it trigger with over a minute, I've seen it not trigger with under a minute and a several score lead.
There's just not a clear specific scenario that triggers it.Last edited by TripleCrown9; 10-20-2024, 08:45 PM.Boston Red Sox

This would especially help to offset some of the awful clock management from the CPU coach in Road to Glory.Comment

This is key. You could be up by 35 and take a knee and have to call another play if your opponent has 1 time out remaining. 0 timeouts and the game assumes you are taking a knee to end the game and ends it. Great feature, but I wish they would "ask" the CPU coach if he is using his timeouts and end it if he declines.Comment
