Official NCAA 2014 OS Community Rosters (360) READ FIRST PAGE FOR UPDATES

We are back again folks! Another edition of the OS Community rosters will be taking part again this year!

This year in the OS Community rosters we will be featuring ...

-- All schools named.
-- All players have the correct skin color
-- All correct heights and weights
-- All correct home states.
-- Proper equipment adjusted on players

This year WE WILL NOT BE TOUCHING PLAYER RATINGS. The only player ratings we will be adjusting are players that have left the program or players who are not in the game (ala Terrelle Pryor).

The reason behind is that it A) Takes too long for us to do this. B) Creates mass panic/confusion amongst the community.

As of right now, all we ask for is suggestions on how we can improve these rosters. Also I am currently compiling a list of transfers. If you have any inside knowledge on this, feel free to post.

Gentlemen, this thread is for the OS Community Rosters for 360. Keep your posts relative to the OS Community Rosters for 360. Any other post will be deleted. There should be no posts for: Advertising/Linking/Discussion of other rosters, Advertising/Recruiting for non OS-hosted leagues, etc...

If someone is looking for a roster set to hold them over till these are done, check the roster forum. Many discussion threads out there.

DO NOT come into this thread just to ask "When will these be done?"

If repeated off-topic posts from a user have to be deleted, it will result in infractions/bans.

Suggestion for Improving Rosters

Most of the mistakes I have seen on various rosters done by different people are explained by the fact that people rely on official rosters as they stand when the game is releaed in July. However, I believe that the game designers finish the game's rosters before spring ball is even finished. (I think they are done in May.) Any changes in a team's roster that come about between when they are done and the game is released are not reflected in the game. I think to do the best job possible on a roster one would have to print or take a screen cap of rosters and depth charts as the stand toward the end of spring practice. I plan to do both for Virginia Tech.

Very true. That is the one negative about the game coming out in July. A lot of the information we are given and research in July are changed by October.

For example, last year who would've thought Manziel would win the Heisman?!? I remember reading he changed his number from 15 to 2 ... and said, should I change his number? Because the other player that starts wears #2 but is a SR.

That's why this season, we will mainly focus on cosmetics of it all. We will leave all of the ratings etc. to a later date. It just gets too confusing and there really is no set way to say that Player A for Ohio State is a 95 overall. But Player B for Hawaii only deserves a 89. It's just tough.

Speaking of Manziel, I could help out with Texas A&M. I haven't done roster editing with NCAA yet, but I idd do some with NBA 2k13, so tell me if you need help with anything.

july 7th is the realyrlease for ncaa fballl so tip for thsose who are dloading ncaa 14 early(via season ticket!) make sure yeha renw your season pass!!!

Glad to see you guys doing this again this year Carson, as always I will be around for any help with West Virginia's roster. I will be going to the spring game on Saturday and should get a decent idea of what it will look like at this point, however it is still hard to say considering the Freshman and some JUCOS that will still come in in the summer, but I should be able to give you a rough draft of a template, especially once the rosters are released on Teambuilder, thanks for all your hard work guys!
