Greetings to the New Year of 2021 for NCAA 13 folks! NCAA 13 has been on life support all these years, but keeps chugging along while NCAA 14 continues to chug along!

The 2021-22 NCAA 13 CONVERSION THREAD!

For XBOX 360 and PS3 & RPCS3.

NOTE: SKIP the First Updates below on page 1, since they had Freeze issues on rivalry games and many Big10 teams had freeze issues when playing as home team. So get latest update on Page 2!

Hope Everyone made it thru the past pandemic year, but now it's time for a new FALL 2021 Football Season !!

-Hopefully all files will work, but depth charts will need auto and manual adjusting on all teams. Later updates I may fix Xbox360 better, but wanted to get this first release out there this first weekend of College Football.

NCAA 14 has been expensive for years, so NCAA 13 might be the next best choice; And NCAA 13 continues to go up up in price due to the demand and rarity of the game as more years pass. But if you have a strong PC & graphics, recently RPCS3 - Emulation of PS3 has improved & provides another choice to playing NCAA football 14 & 13 for years to come, esp for those whose disc stopped working, or could never track down a good & affordable copy.

Problems encountered:

I tried addressing the Dynasty Freeze issues in the past by using a TEAMS data file from a 2017-18 roster with only some of the data transferred from 2021. --If Some one can test Dynasty Mode, check to see if it's working better. But I don't know what is causing the freezes, so it may still be an issue .

-Tex State and UMass have freeze issues on startup (using as home team or road team may counter this, but not sure) and UTSA is missing a lot of data.
-Komikozibob mentioned more problems in past rosters which are relevant here too.
eg.-UAB will have UNC Charlotte's players.
-All teams are not in their new conferences. There were dynasty Freezing & loading issues when these were changed. All teams are in their original NCAA 13 conferences.
-12-13 season schedule. **The new schedule does not work with the 2013 game and it would take hours to update manually.

PS3 users will have to adjust PS3 Depth Charts since I only own Xbox360 & so cannot test the PS3. But will continue trying to make a file for PS3.
(teams depth charts on xbox360 might be adjusted later, but may still need more adjusting.).

-Depth charts will have to be adjusted with " auto adjust depth chart " and then do some positions manually in game on most teams. (Since Depth charts do not convert properly in conversions from the source file.)

iThe first update in this post below is incomplete as of Aug/Sept: few missing teams were sourced from different authors: (But more updates occuring in Fall Season will have all Vikesfan Team Data)

-I Merged 8 teams from Jrriv4, FSU team by Riko, Florida Notredame had alternate edits, with 105+ teams from Vikesfan updates. (There will always be some things missing: a few missing freshmen players on many random teams, wrong jersey #s, etc).
I have maintained this roster a few more times in the Fall 2021 in November after Vikesfan updates were more finalized. So see later posts on page 2+

*This is a continuation of the work started in the Last pages of Posts of 2020-21 season & based on old threads 2017-18 NCAA 13 From Komikozibob.

The conversion is based on the NCAA14 Vikesfan
(But now in Fall 2021 this year the break down is like this: Page 2 All 126 teams from Vikesfan.
Also, 3 Teams were changed out in NCAA14, so team uniforms will not match correct players on Idaho,NMSU, and Uconn. They were Changed to revamped NCAA14 teams: Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, & Charlotte.


Before Season Began, First Update breakdown was as follows:

Vikesfan 105+ teams, About 9 teams from jrriv4, slight mod of Vikesfan/Boss's Florida, and RyP's NotreDame ).

Based on the last few years roster conversions by Komikozibob & Myself. Komikozibob came back once last year for the PS3 roster & Once This year, and posted a newer file to try to identify any bugs like Dynasty Loading Issues, but they may still have issues. Any other PS3 & XBox360 users are welcome to fix depth charts or any bugs in the files I post, and share it here for everyone else.

*Not sure why some people cannot get this to work. I provided both file types to try both known methods to file transfer. I think there are a lot of people that have this working.
It has been found that Modio 3 may require Save File to be named exactly the same as the 1.36mb Roster File Contents file.(if you use the method2).
Or it could be that some Flash Drives are not compatible-I use an older small 4gb flash drive from 2010, so maybe newer larger flash drives are the problem, so try using a small flash drive.

Making conversions had issues in 2019 & 2020 with Dynasty Freezes but hopefully it works better this year for some people. This year on Page2 updates, I changed out Coaches Data to a better one from 2 years ago (2019 season) in hopes to stop freeze issues.

**As long as the NCAA 13 conversion is made, it may be possible to make another NCAA12 newer conversion. But due to tighter time, I may never be able to make it.

** I thought game play was easy compared to NCAA14, so Try adjusting Difficulty Level and Sliders to eg. Heisman mode. I tried some settings found on youtube to put in Heisman Mode and User Sliders to 65 & Computer Sliders to 35-& it seemed close to All American Difficulty on NCAA 14. Google search for Ncaa13 slider suggestions on YouTube.

Hey! Awesome work on the roster. I previewed tonight's matchup between Boise State and UCF and I'm loving it! One problem I've run into both last year and this year is rivalry games not loading. I'm playing on regular PS3 and whenever I try playing New Mexico vs New Mexico State (in dynasty or play now), it freezes. Ran into a similar problem trying to play Ohio St. vs Minn. today. Didn't freeze but was just infinite loading screen.

I haven't done lots of testing but those are just some matchups I ran into trouble with.

Great News! Komikozibob sent me his latest roster conversion to help keep the ball rolling again for the new year! Everyone Will Really appreciate his efforts keeping NCAA13 alive once again this year for PS3!
-So Straight from the original PS3 source, I posted Komikozibob' latest file.


-I plan to convert it for Xbox360 later when I get free time. I also wanted to transfer a few more updated teams from other sources on top of this to get it more updated, so it will have to wait.

This is awesome guys! Kept the game alive all these years. Hopefully this is the last year it has to be done. Yall nailed the player/team talent sets on this one.

Has anyone found away around the few teams that glitch when you play at their stadium? Penn State and Texas are the first two I found that won't load at home .

Is there any reason I can’t load into any dynasty game with these rosters? I’m on Xbox 360 and before using these updated rosters my game never froze loading into a dynasty game but now it does every single time with these new rosters. I don’t mess with the conferences or even the schedule for that matter so what would be the problem? Thanks

I want to make another update to the rosters here based on the latest Vikesfan update 10-26-21, especially for Xbox360 since I only released one version for that.. So hang in there.

Part of the hold up is whether or not I should update the teams and coaches file and whether I should try removing the Modded teams from the revamped NCAA14, and bring back the original Idaho,NMSU, and Uconn, but those rosters probably won't be updated.

I may not update any of the depth charts, & I cannot promise the freezes will go away, so you will have to test it when I have it done.

10-26-21 Vikesfan Wk1 - Xbox360, PS3, Rpcs3

- This update was reworked with the help of my older 2019-20 roster, and Vikesfan latest updated NCAA14 file for 10-26-21. I was thrilled to fix the Ohio State home game Freezes along with other teams doing the same thing.The Coaches Data was the culprit for the freezes.

- This is the first update for Xbox360 since Late August., And first for PS3 since early Sept.

--I have tested these for single games on Xbox360 but not Dynasty tested. PS3 is also not tested ... depth charts will need to be auto & manual adjusted. I spent much time on Monday Night making this conversion changing the Coaches File. Updated 10-26-21 Players & minor things on Coaches & Teams file are completed.

-- Finally the long delay is over ..it was necessary to wait for NCAA14 to be further along. Plus I have been slowed down by work and school.

-- I decided to keep the revamped teams: Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, & Charlotte., Since they already have rosters from NCAA14. I have worked in the New TEAM NAMES, so they show up in the menu.

--NCAA14 revamped rosters were all ready made and it was going to further delay this update if I tried re-creating the Original 3 Teams (..Idaho,NMSU, and Uconn.). So sorry, but the Graphics Teams Logos and stadiums will not match those 3 teams names.

Rivalry games work well for single game play. But Dynasty freeze issues may occur after 1 season if we don't manually create players for UTSA. See 2year old post below:

Usually I wait 'till most of the Vikesfan teams are close to completed since conversions are a little difficult to make, and juggling online courses/work....so around Last days of August.
Then another update in Sept or Oct and/or Nov, like I did this year.
Komikozibob also makes it for PS3 around early September.

Has anyone got a message saying the file is corrupted when trying to copy from usb to ps3? Is there a fix for this?
