QOTD: Cover athlete in general doesn't matter at all but in 2K's case, if they are indeed signing Jordan, it matters a ton. Just the name alone carries a lot of weight, but the real selling point would be in he was actually in the game.

I remember owning Top Gun as a kid and I don`t ever remember making it very far in that game. The best one on that list has to be the Atlanta Falcons in Madden 04.

QOTD: I could care less who is on the cover.

QOTD: I don't buy a game for the cover athlete, but yes, I think they're important. I collect covers, try to guess the cover athlete selections, and obviously have to look at someone every time the game loads up.
