12 total matches, 9 on the main card.

Acclaimed vs BBG is the only pre show match I see worth even watching.

Copeland,Kingston,Briscoe vs House of Black should be decent

Hook vs Jericho FTW rules should be good since that means no dq

Roderick vs KOR could be a good one

Julia vs Willow we'll see how that ends up, but it feels like Willows winning since Mercedes will be the challenger

Okada vs Pac I guess will be fine, doesn't feel like much build happened

Young Bucks vs FTR in a ladder match will be good

Toni vs Thunder Rosa I don't expect to be a very long match but we'll see

Ospreay vs Danielson as expected, the entire build is literally just "first time ever", so the match better deliver

Joe vs Swerve better end with Swerve winning the title

Having three preshow matches seems to be excessive, if them running out of time when Sting was giving his farewell to the fans didn't teach them anything, Tony Khan will never learn. Just copy the WWE formula, less matches and put matches on Dynamite & Collision or Rampage instead.

That's AEWs PPV format and doesn't seem like they plan on changing anytime soon.

Cram as many matches as possible on PPV, matches go however long they want, and PPVs last 4 hours. And the second a match ends its immediately onto the next match. No time to let the previous match breathe or let the result sink in or have the winner celebrate, it's right on to the next match rapid fire style.

This pre show seemed to be 90 minutes for some reason.

It probably makes the most amount of sense on cards like this... which feels an indie supershow for $50, without a huge big business storyline on the show. Okada vs Pac and the Danielson match will be enough for fans who just want big names vs big names in high workrate matches, I guess. But I'm sure a lot of people will be disappointed if we don't see at least 2 major returns. I swear I heard Alvarez or Meltzer saying this is the best card they've ever had. Idk lol.

AEW has had Jay White for a year.... yet he is on the pre-show for some unknown reason. He deserves better than being the main event of the AEW pre-show.

AEW feels like people are playing the waiting game due to injuries and other things.

MJF/Cole/UK story can't be finished because Cole is injured and MJF might be injured too?

Bullet Club Gold has Juice out, not that he's the main guy in it, but feels like they would've had them doing more (Jay doing singles stuff while Juice and Gunns do trios?).

WWE only seeing Edge as a part-timer, special attraction guy was a huge mistake. Crazy how they didn't want use him more, Triple H made the same mistake Vince did when he saw Randy Savage as just an announcer. Then Savage went to WCW and showed he still could put on good matches and feuds.

That seems to be true of many of the older talent. WWE just views them as part timers/nostalgia acts but they still have more left in the tank.

Wonder why they weren't able to find more for Edge to do?

Congrats to Willow on being a transitional champion. Kind of wish they would let her have a decent run with the TBS Championship before dropping it to Mercedes say at All In.

I feel like Christian had something to do with Copeland/Edge being hard-on to get to AEW and perhaps WWE saw that was happening and didn't want to waste their time trying to talk him out of it.

I'm curious, though, if he has or will have regrets in the long run. Sure, he gets creative freedom, but at what cost? A locker room that has the maturity and direction of a blind child because its owner can't or won't find the testicular fortitude to steer the ship with any resemblance of needed power and control.

I still have hopes for them. I just don't know what it is going to take. I would've loved for Sting to stay on and help run things as he has seen just about all there is to see from so many different angles than many out there today, but only time will tell.

I doubt he'll have many regrets. Main goal seems to be to end his career with Christian.

Even in his entire career, how often have he and Christian been able to do anything together? The feud with Christian now is their first since 2001 when they split! All 4 years after their split when they were in WWE together they never interacted or had any sort of feud or anything. Then Christian went to TNA. Then when he came back he was stuck on ECW. Then we had maybe 5 months of them on SD at the same time before Edge retired.

This has really been their first time in over 20 years to do anything together whether it be as teammates or opponents.

If WWE was able to sign Christian, don't think Edge leaves. Too bad Vince was the one in charge when Christian was making his comeback, we all know Vince's thoughts on Christian.

It's funny.... WWE saw Edge as a special attraction, part-timer and used him less than they should have. While AEW uses Chris Jericho too much and should be the one in a special attraction, part-time role.

LOL... right on cue with this post, "Go Home Jericho" chants lol.

The man who just went Full Big Show just beat Hook.... I get the FTW Championship doesn't mean much and hopefully this means Hook can move into the AEW International Championship picture but Jericho beating him? I just don't get it, anyone else beating him would have been fine.
