    WWE 13 Slider Thread

Is it possible for us to start a WWE 13 Slider thread here? The other one is 38 pages long. Figured it's a good time to start over with a new game (version).

      Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread

Question, in the options tab are the HUM and AI sliders separated? What I mean is there are reversal sliders in both the general section AND the AI section - so is the AI affected by both of those sliders or is it just the AI part?

I'm not sure if this is placebo effect or not but here's what I did. All ai reversal sliders 2 clicks from left. All the other reversal sliders. 3 clicks from left.

Played as Jericho v. Slater and it was great. Back and forth with both mounting offense. Not a lot of reversals. Playing on hard. Slater beat me. Didn't hesitate. He hit his sig as soon as he got it and then his finisher right after for the win.

Hard may be the way to go this year. For some reason, the CPU seems much more aggressive and not nearly as reversal heavy as on Legend.

Im using the same sliders as I did last year.

I think my skill set is just too good for the game.

Only way for me to get good matches from the AI is to up their reversal sliders even more. I basically made it easy for me to reverse (indicator off) as well as the AI..Been that way for the last 5 or so years.

              SIGH..

I believe the CPU runs and executes a better match on Hard this year. I really do.

Juke, you could try playing with some house rules? I know I'm not the only one to do so, but one that I've found extremely helpful is only giving myself one reversal attempt per grapple by the CPU.

This game needs a separate reversals for strikes and grapples.

I have to dig through my WWE 12 sliders, but I think I was on difficulty of HARD last year. But, I had all the AI Reversal sliders at 0 I think. But, this was mainly for CPU vs CPU matches. Having the slider reversals at 0 causes the game to use the wrestlers stats instead of some "in-game" determining factor

I get a challenge with my last year's sliders and its def more of a challenge this year than it was last year with the same set. At this point I think its just the bad AI that is making it easy for me.

The AI hesitate too much before attempting to attack me and the only way I can get them to actually work a match is if I have reversals high. I counter the high reversal rate by making it easy for me (but disabled the indicator text) to reverse. The matches actually flow pretty good because most of the reversals are from weak grapples and since the animation is better, it actually looks like a wrestling match with wrist locks and ect.. No exaggerated reversal animations like in the past so that helps and make things more believable and less frustrating.

Lol but with that said, I still havent loss yet but I def had some battles.

I am learning game finally. Still have some questions though.

How do you do strong grapples?

Is there a way to look at each wrestlers moves? and how to do each of their moves from which position?

Strong grapples are faced to the same button. But, to do a strong grapple, your opponent must be groggy.

As for your second question, all moves stem from the analog-stick and your grapple button. Each position has four moves (up, down, left, right + A). You can see full movesets in the Creations Mode.

Anyone else notice the huge difference in difficulty between AE mode and Universe? On AE, I have a hard time winning on Hard, but in Universe with sliders favoring the CPU on Legend, I'd say I win about 60% of my matches.
