Havent played wrestling title in 10 years HELP!

So I've researched this thread for a couple days and I have some questions.

What is "Universe" mode. Its not making sense to me. Please keep in mind that I havent played a wrestling game in atleast 10 years. (1st Smackdown)

I have to create minor/major shows? Rosters? PPV?

Im lost, can someone break it down for a brotha?

Attitude Era mode is a story mode where you have main goals and minor goals. Most of the time your goal will just be like to win the match. Your minor goal will be detailed stuff to re create moments from what happend in real life. You can unlock a ton of stuff as you finish the goals.

A universe mode is kinda like a dynasty/season mode where you have TV shows and PPV. This year you can edit the tv shows and change them from major to minor. If its a minor show you dont have its own roster like a major show does. They are over 200 storylines that happen during this. The CPU picks the matches but you can also change them if you would like.

You can also download stuff that people upload to the internet like wrestlers, areana etc.

Basically you can do whatever you want. You control the Whole WWE and can decide what shows to use. It will start out with Raw and Smackdown as your major shows with Superstars as the minor shows. All this means is Raw will use Raw Superstars and Smackdown, Smackdown Superstars. You can however have both Rosters on the Show like Real Life to Create Supershows. Superstars is more of smaller promotion where you can again choose what Roster or Rosters to have on that show.

If you leave it all Default than go to your first show which will be RAW the Game will start creating Story lines like a career mode. You also have the control to change any match you don't like. So Really Universe is basically as it Says you control the WWE Universe. So you will go through like when you would choose one Wrestler and do a career but now you have the ability to play any match you want. Want to Start a Feud just make 2 guys enemies, Put together Tag Teams. The Game will try to create stories based on what you want them to do. Edit the number 1 contenders to get the right matches.

This mode is Really fun hope this helps a little

So can I create myself and just control myself and the CPU will generate storylines, enemies, and allies?

Yeah you can sim any match you dont wanna play and u can put yourself in every show if you want to.

Also the game is easy to pick and play the control scheme is very easy to learn.

Also just go to youtube and you can find some detailed videos that will help you. Its also a good game to play with friends/kids since its easy to pick up and play. The attitude era alone last like 8+ hours

Yea Im an "old guy" I've wanted a wrestling game for a minute, but I dont watch it so I figured I wouldnt like it. But this game looks real nice

I did the same thing last Christmas picked up smackdown vs raw 11 for real cheap even though I hadn't watched wrestling since the attitude era. Well now I'm hooked again and DVr every show. The community creations where u can dl other people's created wrestlers sounds like something u would like.

Yea I do like to make CAWs and see other people's original CAWs. Im all in, Im getting this game this afternoon. Ive been playing NBA2k13 (great game IMO) but I wanted something different for this weekend.

Cant wait to get started. 5'clock cant get here fast enough!

Go to the body option of the CAW section, go to the size option then pick whatever body type fits what you need and then go to shape and edit specific body part sizes such as chest, arms, legs, etc.

i am in the same boat as the original post in this thread. i haven't gotten a wrestling game in forever, but nba 2k13 looks awesome to me as well. wish i had money to float both games, but i can only pick one... wwe 13 or nba 2k13... ugh...
