Looks okay (giving off No Mercy vibes), but I need to see gameplay before I think about a purchase.

A lot has changed over the two or three years development of the title. I wonder if it'll suffer a lot of the same (outdated) roster issues that 2K22 did?

Anyway, it's great that we'll have another wrestling game very soon (plus all the indy titles).

I know a lot of people are clowning the graphics. Frankly, the graphics are fine. I want to know how it plays.

I actually like the graphics better this way and it definitely gives off No Mercy / Revenge vibes. If they can just have the same game play style, that's all I need. I pre-ordered the NWO 4 Life 2k22 version and I'm already bored of the game play even though the graphics are great and it has a ton of wrestlers. The simulation 2K gameplay is just not fun period.

It's definitely giving off No Mercy vibes. I'm also in the same boat waiting on the gameplay. I have confidence that the gameplay will be good because Yukes' games have been solid in that area, in my opinion anyway. I'm also curious about if they'll have their own version of a creation suite? Graphics look way better than the initial ones when the game was first leaked and talked about.

Tons of videos that I can only find on Twitter and don't feel like linking them.

But...it doesn't look great.

Mini-games is an interesting concept, but it just doesn't look good.

My interest in this game has gone down to around a 10% but it'll be a day one purchase because I'm a shill.

Just screams low budget. Gotta do better than that especially with how much money has been sunk into this game.

Mini - games are a complete no - go for me. If I wanted mini - games I'd just play a Mario Party title or something.

I'm still interested in this title but it's looking like it won't be a day one purchase.

Yeah idk. Still doesn't have a release date. Seems to be going for that WWE 2K14 era style, which is good because that's when those games were at their height of popularity, and it's a more realistic goal given that this is their first game. That gameplay doesn't exactly scream "full priced game," but I don't even know what that means in 2022. Plenty of full priced games out there that aren't heavily driven by state of the art graphics lol.

It honestly looks terrible.

They spent between $20-$80 million (big range I know lol) on this for a badly produced commercial, and that game?

Graphics didn't need to be amazing, but they needed to be better than that.

I understand the mini-games thing because I'm sure they'll start a gaming channel on YouTube like Woods has UUDD and play the mini-games on there.

That's just a terrible promo video to introduce the game. I like Britt and Tony together in general, but their back and forth just doesn't fit here.

Other than that, looks like a game to buy on a sale. DLC pricing probably determines how deep of a sale I'm waiting for though.

The clunky move-to-move transitions in every clip that's come out are kind of a big flashing "guys, remember that game from 20 years ago?!" sign.

Better how, though? If they were going for photorealistic then yeah, I can see the criticism. They're clearly going for a stylized realistic look. I think my biggest complaint with what they have so far is a lack of shine on anything. It's like everything's made of clay.

I think it reminds me of a THQ/Yukes game from like 15 years ago. Might work. If it sells it will have potential to be more polished for next release. Glad we are starting to get alternatives again, like in the good old days.
