A New Sheriff in Town!

Texas Tech Athletic Director seems ready to announce the new Head Coach of the football team, so let�s head to the news conference.

�Ladies and Gentleman�s, Texas Tech football programs, from Matadors to Red Raiders, always have been an example for the football community. This University always had a winning tradition and we look to keep it that way. Last year, our 5-7 record paired with a 2-7 in the Conference was inacceptable. Therefore, it was decided that it was time to move on and Texas Tech and Tommy Tuberville agreed to part ways.

Today I�m proud to introduce you the new Head Coach of the Red Raiders, Mr. Frank Beaule. Mr. Beaule is our guy because he preaches the same values we are entitled to. With one of the toughest schedule ahead he will have its hands full, but we�re looking to prove experts wrong. Mr. Beaule, welcome to the Texas Tech University.�

�Thank Mr. Hoccutt. I will not get on a long speech. Most of you don�t know who I�m, never talk to me or seen me coach a football team. It�s normal, I�ve always been a backstage guy, working with people in the Province of Quebec on few football teams.

I won�t tell you we�re going to go 12-0, that we�re going to win the Big 12 neither that we will win the National Championship. I�m no bull; I�m more telling it like it is. I like the talent level on that team and what the guys can do. As soon Mr. Hoccutt contacted me with the job opportunity did I say I was ready to go.

I�ll work with my players at the moment I�m finished with you, and it�s going to be a pleasure answering your questions after week #1. Thank you.�

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are now ready to head on into to 2012 season. There was a change to the schedule with Nortwestern State swapped with Florida State to start the season. It could be a season to remember for the Red Raiders or one that will provide a lot of pain, with many ranked teams in the schedule. We'll see how the new HC will do to make the team match-up against tough opponents.
