Replays, replays, replays!

I did a similiar blog entry last year and it seems like most people agree with me; replays in basketball games should evolve to broadcast standards.

I still don't understand why we get replays right after a cool dunk when 2K, and EA, strive towards making the game look like an actual broadcast.

EA had a cool thing in Live 10 where they showed a replay before a free throw even if the ball didn't go in. That's something I'd like to see more of.

Replays should be shown during timeouts/dead balls

Ever since I started playing basketball games I've always wanted them to expand on replays during the game. The introduction of instant replays after dunks in Live in the 90's was great but it hasn't really been expanded upon until 2K came into the picture and started to show replays, not just after highlight plays, but at the end of quarters by showing baskets.

This is my first blog entry and it's about a subject I think should be paid more attention to.

I've played basketball games since the 80's starting with Double Dribble for the NES and Cinemaware's TV Sports Basketball for the Amiga.
