Modio Problem

I have been trying for 6 hours straight now to get Modio to work on my computer. I have installed .net framework 4.0, but 3.5 will not install. I can download it and it begins to install but I get an error and it closes out every time. Modio gives me this error...

---Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Could not load the assembly 'System.Core. Version=3.5.0.0. Culture=neutral. PublicKey Token=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. ---

Does anyone know how I can get all this to work? I have searched internet forums and I can't seem to find anything I can understand or that will work. I might just need .net framework 3.5 installed, but I am getting an error installing that, so I don't know where to go next. I thought 4.0 would work, but even that does nothing. Any help would be appreciated greatly!

Re: Modio Problem

Nothing will work. I have tried numerous things. Microsoft update has failed this update since mid-2009. I am on my 8th hour trying to find something to fix it, but I am calling it quits since no one else knows either. If anyone else has any more ideas, let me know. Or if there is an alternate program other than Modio I can use, I'd try that too.

Re: Modio Problem

I tried loading 3.5 first and it gave me the errors, so I downloaded 4.0 to see if that would help. Still nothing.

What I mean is to use FireFox for everything you'd use windows explorer for since you can't seem to get the proper updates, which I find hard to imagine.

In any case just bring up FireFox and do everything there instead of explorer, I still think you're missing some updates.
