Last season left a bitter taste in Fran Wren's mouth and the rest of the Braves organization and fan base for that matter, and it didn't take long for Wren to go into action. Wren dealt Hanson to the Angels for Jordan Walden. Lets face it, Hanson hasn't lived up to hype and it was time to cut ties and this we the right time to do so with his shoulder issues. Wren then followed it up by signing BJ Upton to a ridiculous contract that quite frankly im not to fond of, but it is what it is. But that was only the beginning when Wren was able to pull off a huge trade in pretty much absolutely robbing the D-Backs in pretty much only giving up Delgado and Prado for Upton and Chris Johnson which is just gonna help to platoon third while Atlanta figures out how to fill Chipper's shoes. Which we both know is not going to be easy.
Wren might not be done here either. He looks to be a man on a mission as not only is he looking to make another move or two for depth off the bench in the infield but sources have confirmed that Venters is being shopped around and could be dealt at the right price. Not to mention that, but with the Upton Brothers now in Atlanta and tearing it up down in Florida during spring ball, it has some people talking and some are not so happy about it like they were a few weeks ago.

Spring Facilities
Fran Wren was standing behind homeplate in the first row of the stands watching his team warm up for just a normal exhibition game thinking about how good this team is that he put together over the off-season, when a un familiar man walked up behind him and began to speak
Frank looks up at the man with a confused look on his face just wondering what this man could be talking about
Wren is stunned with what this man is telling him as he just froze where he stood and couldn't really think, much less talk. I mean who could possibly think that Wren would be up to something like this.
As the man walks off like nothing ever happend Frank Wren is just standing there with his hand up against his face thinking in disbelief.
