It's the beginning of a new era of Chicago Cubs baseball. Joe Maddon is out as the manager of the Cubs. The man who brought the first World Series title to the Windy City in 108 years. But after 4 consecutive 90 win seasons 3 straight trips to the NLCS and the above mentioned World Series title, 2019 was considered by many to be a failure of a season after finishing with a record of 84-78 and seeing this rather young team slowly regress after the championship run of 2016. The ownership and upper management decided it was time to go in a new direction. Enter David Ross, the man that was loved as a player in the city of Chicago. Can he be the difference maker in 2020 in a year that is considered by many to be a turning point for this franchise. Do they trade away much of their young talent and start rebuilding for another title run or does this team still have what it takes to bring another title to the City. In what looks to be a weaker than normal Central division. The summer of 2020 looks to be an exciting one for the North Side of Chicago.

Brewers bullpen collapses again. It hasn't been the best of starts for the Milwaukee Bullpen. Kyle Schwarber hit what turned out to be the game winning three run homer in the top of the eighth to give the Cubs a 4-1 lead, and earning Kyle Hendricks his first win of the season. Craig Kimbrel would come in in the ninth for the Cubs to earn the save, his first of the season.
