CWSapp - SimWorld.com

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a whale of a playoff showing that included a triple-double and a 42 point outburst. Albeit his Bucks were swept by the Raptors, The Greek Freak showed that he will be an absolute force for years to come. Bucks G Khris Middleton said last night "G played out his heart out and you could see how bad he wanted it. We let him down".

Isaiah Thomas - interview after Game 3

"There have been a llotta missed calls in this series but I just gotta play through it. I've been having to overcome my whole life and I guess this is just gonna be another one of those times." IT has struggled mightily in this series (minus Game 3) and has visibly frustrated with not getting the calls that he thinks he should be getting.

Kenny Smith - Inside the NBA

"No disrespect but the Spurs are simply the better team. I mean come on guys Russ can't do it by himself." - Popovich and the Spurs have as expected run a near flawless game plan to isolate Westbrook and stifle his efficiency. The Thunder did manage to steal on in San Antonio but Russ' play was not the key factor. The Thunder hope to get a total contribution tonight.

Marc Stein - ESPN

Marc Stein reports that the New York Knicks meeting between Phil Jackson, Jeff Hornacek & Carmelo Anthony was to discuss the future of the team and if Anthony would be a part of that future. Melo has stated that his family loves New York but a surce close to Melo has also said that Melo would love the opportunity to play with Chris Paul.

Re: SimWorld Presents: Reaching for Greatness (A NBA2K Dynasty)

April 19 was a day on which all the road teams came away victorious; two teams broke 1-1 deadlocks, and two teams took commanding—but not totally impenetrable—3-0 leads.
Stat of the day: the Rockets were the only team to shoot above 55% from the floor; the Rockets (45%) and the Hawks (43%) were the only teams to shoot above 40% from beyond the arc.

Hawks 93, Pistons 78 (Hawks lead series 2-1):
Atlanta outscored Detroit 49-33 in the second half to take a two-one lead in the series. The crushing defense continues, as all three games have seen the loser score fewer than 80 points (and the winner no more than 93!). The Pistons lost thanks to too many turnovers in the third quarter, in which they were outscored 21-10. Andre Drummond led the way with 16 and 12, while Atlanta received double-digit contributions from all their starters except Dennis Schroeder (who had 8 and 11 assists). The series continues at the Palace for game 4.

Cavaliers 104, Bulls 97 (Cavs lead series 3-0):
It appeared the Bulls had caught a cold upon their return to the windy city, shooting a poor 37% from the field and just 28% from deep. Or was it merely a lack of distribution, as the Cavs doubled up the Bulls in assists (32-16), or was it a lack of depth, with Cleveland's bench outscoring Chicago's to the tune of 46-28. Nay, it is for all these reasons that the Cavs have the three-nothing lead. Kevin Love and LeBron each turned in double-double performances, with the King going for 19/13 and Love putting up a very impressive 17/18. Game 4, the potential final game, is also in Chicago.

Rockets 123, Grizzlies 82 (Rockets lead series 2-1):
Boom! There's the offensive explosion we were waiting for. Four different Rockets scored more than 20 points, with James Harden also posting a 21/13/10 triple-double. The Rockets hit 17 of 38 threes attempted. That is the road to success for Houston, especially considering that Eric Gordon had an off night (2-11 on threes) from beyond the arc. The Grizzlies came out flat and slow, and that will make for only a quick road home for them if they do not improve. Game 4 remains in Memphis, with the Grizz needing a big home win to match their success in Houston from the opening two games.

Warriors 100, Nuggets 91 (Warriors lead series 3-0):
Denver must surely be kicking themselves. Having outscored the Warriors 26-11 in the second quarter, they were outscored by 16 in the second half to wipe away what will likely have been their best shot at a win in this series. Wilson Chandler led the way with 22 and 11, but only scored 6 points in the second half. Meanwhile, it was Kevin Durant—a looming, towering, cold-hearted Kevin Durant—scoring 41 points (18-20 from the free throw line) and reassuring the Oakland faithful. Curry and Thompson will have to improve, yes, and the Warriors as a team shot a poor 36%, but they got to the line 41 times and that alone was enough. Game 4, the potential final game, is also in Denver.

AFTER LEAVING LAST NIGHT'S GAME IN THE 3RD QUARTER, X-RAYS ARE NEGATIVE BUT DRAYMOND GREEN IS EXPECTED TO MISS AT LEAST THE NEXT GAME WITH A STRAINED ACHILLES. COACH KERR HAS ANNOUNCED THAT ANDRE IGUODALA WILL START IN HIS PLACE.
