[B][SIZE=3][COLOR=darkorange]I Think its safe to say weve all been there, you play hard in any sports tittle, you battle, you feel the urge to finish & in the end your dealt with nothing but a big F. U.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/B]
[B][I]I understand the main part of a video game is to play the game, gameplays most important sure. [/I][/B]
[B][I]However, there are too many tittles out there that just dont get that players want to feel rewarded for the job theyve done and not feel ripped off. This can alone add replay value, its been happening for decades, largely by nintendo.(think super mario with the princess) [/I][/B]
[B][I]Now a days, when you beat a game (sports game) and all you see is the same menu youve seen everytime you play you cant help but get a little Irritated & Roll your eyes, latley games have been a bit better but not by much. [/I][/B]
[B][I]Lets look at my favourites and assuming the only fanbase I'd ever have and what they play the Baseball games.[/I][/B]
[B][I]MLB 2k5 began what seemed to be the biggest step in delivering a rewarding series of celebration cutscenes, when you pitched a no hitter they started the catcher jumping on the pitcher, you win the world series and you saw people run out on the field AND got to see the world series trophy along with the MVP trophy being presented. [/I][/B]
[B][I]This was by far the best celebration experience in a baseball series, but since then theyve regergitated those same scenes since for the past 4 years with no add on or anything even slightly different to keep it fresh.[/I][/B]
[B][I]MLB The Show, while this series has managed to pin point so many small details of the game of baseball, it lacks big in the celebration department. The same cutscene can be seen for every occasion its short, sort of nice but overall not worthy and half assed. No trophy being shown, all awards are just flash screens ON THE MENU, no saving of how many trophies youve gathered, overall a phenomenal tittle but could have alot more replay value if the "400 new cut scenes" a year had some in there that focused on rewarding the user for there hard faught efforts. A place to review your MLB accomplishments with certain player (not just Road to the Show) [/I][/B]

[B][I][SIZE=4]Its difficult to believe such an intelligent bunch (SCEA team) who can nail some of the games most specific moments can lack in this department.[/SIZE][/I][/B]
[B][I]I cant comment on what 09 will bring but can only expect more of the same unfortunatley.[/I][/B]

[B][I]The best by far in all of sports Ive seen is from the NHL series from EA I can still remember crazy things going on for around 5 minutes at least including a great team photo shot where they go through each players contributions to the playoff run as well as the Consmythe trophy (playoff mvp) being awarded on the red carpet and obviously the Stanley cup where if you chose to you could watch every player hold it and skate. This gave it replay value, you want to keep playing and win it again to see it, and see it again with different teams you manage and different players you like.[/I][/B]

[B][I]Overall things can only get better, I just wish a few lousy cutscenes could reward you when you win the tittles that are so covetted. [/I][/B]
