Seriously 2K? Again?

Make no mistake, NBA 2K12 is the greatest basketball game of all time. Whatever you enjoyed about 2K11 has been improved upon tenfold. Except for one glaring area. Online Play.
More specifically the amount of time it takes to connect to a match & the amount of lag you experience once (if) you get a match. I'm 4-1 in my first 5 games, so it's not like it's impossible to manage, but still, this is the 4th consecutive year that 2K has launched with a less than desirable online experience.
This is the flagship, the franchise, one of the most critically acclaimed and anticipated sports releases and yet, the same old issues with one of the core elements of the game remains the weakest. What amount of preparation do they need in order to alleviate this problem at launch, especially when you consider they've had the same exact problem for the last 3 games? How is the focus not solely on making sure that wouldn't happen for the 4th time in a row?

Pretty much just how they get down. I don't see why they can't get it right with the money there making though

Oh no doubt, this is hands down the greatest SPORTS game I've ever played, bar none. But that's what makes it so frustrating! I just want the whole experience to work, properly. If the game wasn't so good overall, I'm sure they would probably concentrate on making that portion of it playable |
