I just loaded up my MLB The Show 13 roster I was working on where I set the contracts to "close to real life" amounts and length. What I was seeing to make me try this was that every team’s budget adjusted at the start of a new franchise to be about $10 million or so more than player and staff salaries. IE with ARod out, the Yankees budget was around $100 million, but other versions of rosters the Yankees were as much as $120-$130 plus with the same amount, 10 million, left in the budget...
