NFL 2011 Lock Out

Posted 04-30-2011 at 12:08 PM by rdelizo35
I can understand why the lock out is in place. It boils down to money. Yes, the NFL is a business and needs to make money to survive and should be able to do so. But, having said that, the lock out is just a big "f... you" to the millions of fans who are passionate about the sport.

Please Mr. Goodell swallow your damn pride, sit down with the players, and get a deal done ASAP so that we can have NFL football this year. You owe it to the fans who help make the NFL what it...

Despite the uncertainty that surrounds the NFL season, I'm actually quite excited for this year's edition of Madden NFL '12 especially after seeing the recent videos that showcase the presentation improvements and gameplay.

I'm most interested to see what improvements/enhancements that have been made to Franchise mode since I'm more of an offline gamer. If the guys at EA have made significant changes to Franchise that make it deeper and more enjoyable to play, then I'll no doubt...

Let me preface this by saying that I have been a lifelong 49ers fan dating back to when the team was winning Super Bowl titles with Joe Montana. I don't consider myself a hardcore NFL fan by any means but I do like watching games on Sunday as well as try to keep up with what's going on and also play Madden every year to get my NFL fix.

With all that said, I honestly was excited to see how my beloved Niners would go in the draft. I was holding out hope that they would go with Patrick...
