I have season tickets for Pitt in one of the lounge areas and when I was at the Pitt vs. WVU game last year there were a couple fights between Pitt and WVU fans in the lounge area during halftime. Though I don't know who started it, I've never noticed any fighting going on at other games I've been to.

I think I realized why Tech didnt make the list... it is SO bad there that no one even goes to the games to find out.

Do they still throw batteries there?

it's probably more like nobody wants to go to the middle of nowhere to watch a football game. lol

I don't recall every seeing batteries being thrown, but it has been nearly 5 years since I last saw a game in Lubbock. the few times I've been, it didn't seem any different than any other football game I've been too(Cowboys, High School, UT/OU game) in terms of rudeness.

but for what it's worth, Tech was voted the worst in the Big 12 on that poll.

From my experiences, Nebraska fans are the most polite BCS conference fans I've encountered.

LOL this is hilarious. I have never heard someone say Michigan has bad fans. In fact I have pretty much seen and heard the exact opposite.

Michigan? Really?

Hawai'i fans during the June Jones/Colt Brennan era were ridiculous. The field would end up littered with trash by the end of the game.

I went to the USF WVU game a few weeks ago and some USF and WVU fans got into a little scuffle. Being a former WVU student and a native West Virginian nothing surprises me anymore.
