So I wasn't as in-tune with Manti Teo's story as the rest of you all, as I go out of my way to not watch his school of choice play football, but how in the hell do you get fooled by something like this (assuming the "victim" story is true)? The more likely scenario is that he actively played a part in it, in which case - why the hell would you agree to take part in such a terribly-designed publicity stunt that was sure to fall apart?

I said this on Twitter, and I'll say it here. He's not a victim whatsoever. He's the one that said they met at Stanford, he's the one that said they vacationed together, he's the one that told everyone she was in a wreck. Even in that scenario, he was told by her brother, who also doesn't exist.
