It’s really not fair Bama gets to have Tua too. He’s amazingly good. The 18 TDS, 25 incompletions is the one that gets me.

They actually need him this year. They might be 4-2 with Hurts starting because the defense is porous by Alabama's standards.

With Tua at the helm Bama is finally playing to their potential on offense for once. All of that youth on defense is the weakness on that team now which is weird to say.

Still, with the way Bama has recruited in the past even when they were the best team in the nation they never completely lived up to the potential they could have had. Now with Tua they are dominating like a team that has bought the talent they have.

In 2017, Baker Mayfield had a Passing Efficiency Rating of 200.4 through the first seven games.

Kyler Murray could go out on the field against TCU and throw 9 straight interceptions and still have a better Passing Efficiency Rating than Mayfield through seven games.

He's amazing. I'm glad he's gonna protect his money and his body and play for the A's, but it's too bad we'll never see him on an NFL sideline.

Still ranked #18 in S&P/+. The defense is on the field more because they're a pass-first team all of a sudden. I think Saban being upset about the second team giving up yards in the second half is a bit much ado about nothing. I think without Tua they'd just lean more on the run. Who exactly do you think they'd have lost to?

Granted, Alabama has played a load of nothing defenses aside from TAMU. Regardless, this is the most fun Bama offense of my lifetime.
Comparing Tua to the best six games by several Heisman winners:

Re: College Football Off Topic

Can anyone explain to me why Paul Finebaum has a show? I guess I don't get what his "core competency" is. Even with the 'shouters' and pundits on FS1 and ESPN, you can kind of see how they get not-very-smart people riled up. I don't see the appeal with Finebaum. Although, I guess listening to the southern-drawling goobers call in to tell their meandering, pointless stories is...entertaining?
