They've already threatened one and legally they will probably win. Then the conference will have to investigate and then they get to respond. So it will take forever.

He definitely is leaving college if he wants to coach. He'll get suspended for 1-3 years. If they are successful in delaying this and he leaves to the NFL, I'd tell them that the conference will then punish the team. Either you take the suspension and don't fight it or the school takes the full punishment in the future.

Same. But like I've said. They can blame him all they want. It's still going to fall on Jim at the end of that day. This falls directly under his command. He's only way to a avoid punishment is what you said. Him just leaves. Which pushes the point that p rush was making. The only person who's going to get hurt here is the university/players.

Sorry this had been going around LMAO

Here is a question. Is anyone at the university like we ****ed up? Let's just suspend ourselves so we can get this over. Or are they like we need to win now they can do whatever they want to us later?

The ESPN article made it definitely sound like they are going to do whatever they can to preserve this year and worry about it later. They know the punishment would be on the coach unless there is money from the boosters or school being paid for reimbursement. The money is the biggest unknown right now but guessing he was getting paid somehow.

Unless they are banning post season play and taking scholarships, any punishment is virtually meaningless.

Seems unlikely. This is the school that tried to negotiate a 4-game suspension for Harbaugh in the pre-season and when the NCAA rejected it, they're like "OK, 3 then. We done here?"

I was just reading that the guy on the CMU sidelines is wearing those Ray-Ban recording glasses. Seems like a marketing opportunity in my opinion lol. It's like those Prime Shades lol

And the damage control. This kind of sucks. Especially if his story is true. How did his name get attached to Connor?
