IlliniMatt's FIFA 14 Next-Gen Premier League Realism Sliders
2/25/14 Update
I've totally reworking this slider set from the ground up on World Class. Please keep in mind that this is a work in progress.
**10 mins, World Class, Assisted Controls except Crossing - Manual**
Sliders: User/CPU
Sprint: 20/20 Acceleration: 47/47 Shot Error: 51/51 Pass Error: 53/50 Shot Speed: 50/50 Pass Speed: 40/40 Injury Frequency: 50/60 Injury Severity: 50/50 GK Ability: 1/1 Marking: 100/50 Run Frequency: 10/10 Line Height: 52/52 Line Length: 53/53 Line Width: 90/90 Fullbacks: 40/40 First Touch Control: 60/60 Power Bar: 50 (User Preference)
Notes:
The combination of Sprint Speed, Acceleration, and Pass Speed gives the game a better pace.
GK Ability at 1 gives you the ability to score from long range, but the keeper will still make impressive saves, especially at close range.
Higher first touch seems to lead to more CPU shots, something that was lacking in the previous set.
Marking is imbalanced, if the User/CPU sliders are set equal, the CPU will pressure the User team, while the User team gives too much space. Finding the right Marking balance is difficult. 100/50 seems extreme, but its working out for me so far. I'd love to get your feedback on this.

Intro
After tinkering with these for a few weeks, I thought I would share them with everyone. These are roughly based on Matt10's current-gen sliders with some input from a bunch of slider sets I've seen.
Highlights
Realistic pace of play
Realistic build up play from midfield
Eliminates most cheap CPU exploits

Notes
I've used these for my Career Mode with Fulham in the Premier League. I'm currently 5th in the league with about 10 games to play in my first season. Sliders mimic the style of play in the Premier League really well.
I use the Broadcast camera angle to give the game a more realistic feel.
I use Assisted Controls (default out of the box), but you may be able to adjust the User Pass/Shot Error sliders and use manual.
Lower Run Frequency keeps the User or CPU from playing cheap balls over the top.
Lower Keeper Ability makes saves realistic, punishes lapses in defense.
Let me know what you guys think of these. Happy FIFAing!
Re: IlliniMatt's FIFA 14 Next-Gen Premier League Realism Sliders
These sliders are fantastic. I am new to playing FIFA and love it. However, having the CPU team get like zero shots a game in my career matches was just too unrealistic. Could have been the difficulty I was on, who knows. But since using these set of sliders and upping the difficulty accordingly, games have been great, close contests. Nice job IlliniMatt!
