RM played in a very direct manner, it resulted in end to end game that felt often very arcade like. After that game I was really confused. I will give it another go tomorrow to clear up my mind

I think the key to what you're expressing here is what has made FIFA 16 so enjoyable this year. It's virtually impossible to expect the same outcome game to game. The adaptive code is not strictly limited to difficulty. That's why I think we'll find diminishing returns or whack-a-mole scenarios at some point with the sliders.

It will prove profitable IMO to grab 5-10 game samples and have a stated criteria of what we're looking for as a base.

Then, if it's not working, a problem statement should be issued before refining! Yes, I'm literally proposing that we use lean and agile methodologies here.

Ok guys, you'll be pleased to hear I haven't given up on Fifa 16! Thanks to all the support from the community, I am now having a blast on this game. The thing that has turned this thing around for me is the 70/60 length discrepancy. It's opened up the midfield like magic. Loving it lads. Thanks for the tips in red too Matt. Very helpful mate.

Is anyone else having trouble with the defensive midfield player running ahead of play when attacking? The likes of Matic and Gareth Barry keep doing this even when I've selected Stay back when attacking.

Played one game with new values to set M.
Absolute nightmare for me,gonna go back and watch my recorded stream on twitch.
But I hardly saw the ball(vs Swansea)
CPU didn't get tired,kept going like a machine.
Only one game though.
Last settings on M felt better,but going back to have watch.

Played a bit different,tried to expose how hard CPU presses you,how hard they mark you,how fast they come up,if they let you turn around and shoot etc

Having the "Broadcasting" in the middle of the radar didn't help either

Yeah,Swansea are a good side passing,use to be best in Europe a few years back.
But 94% acc kinda felt off

Played my first match with new test set, against Heracles Almelo away.

CPU was pressing brutally, admirably even, but I managed to win 0-1. Shots (only) 4-3. Maybe shortening length "closes" the game?

Possession 49-51, tackles 11-19, fouls 1-2 (home team first).
