That sucks, but this is what a Beta is all about. I'm sure it will be worked out when the game is released.

I think my only gripe with the game so far is the ground game. It just seems sooo difficult and as someone else mentioned, it doesn't really allow for you to just pick up and play. Right now, I definitely need the HUD assist because I would have no idea what to do otherwise. But in the time it takes for me to look at the HUD and choose my move, my opponent has already transitioned or begun his transition.

With all that being said, I will probably enjoy it more once I fully get the hang of it but i'm sucking horribly right now and always just hope for a stand up affair

For some reason whenever that situation happens, holding L1/LB and throwing a punch will make your fighter go into finishing the fight and throwing strikes on the ground. It usually takes three punches and then the ref calls the fight to a halt.

The problem is you are likely facing people who dont need the HUD and those people should dominate you. The HUD isnt for people to be able to rely on long term or for any success. Its for people to learn the moves and make the ground game a little more understandable.

People need to spend more time in practice mode. That will give you plenty of time to learn the ground game and improve.
