My guess it was just to hammer home the point that the dirt these guys do has a tendency to make those who are the most innocent, victims by association.

I'm guessing this thing goes one more season and then is done after the 5th. Wouldn't be surprised if Tommy is next to get put out.

If those were the best hitmen that Dre could hire than he really isn't ready for the big time. After 50 closed the door dude had a chance to hit him with something, stab him in the back or something but he decides to jump on 50s back.

It's setting up for Kanaan and Ghost to get Dre.
